During COVID I would get deployed to NYC, Brooklyn specifically. As the city began to open up, I was able to try take out from Peaches Hothouse. Fast forward. While on a quick trip to NYC in 2024 I made it a point to come here just for Catfish. Yup the catfish is perfect! Service is great! Ambiance is chill! Looks like a real house, lol. Cozy and quaint. If I'm coming here straight from Penn Station, it's GOOD! Trust me! Reviews are telling! They have high ratings for reason!

Absolutely perfect fried chicken. I got the nashville hot at heat level 'hot', and it was medium-hot. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with even the breast having enough flavor that you didn't feel too disappointed moving to it after the delicious dark meat pieces. I also added the spicy pickles and hot sauce, I mostly ate the chicken dry, but with breast I did dip it, and the sauce was really good. The pickles were a nice addition I'd recommend. The only disappointing thing was the fries I got with it, they didn't hold onto their crunch like the chicken, and were just really standard generic french fries you'd get from a bodega; that said, I'd just get another side, as everything else was good. I got it to go; the pick up was fast and easy, and place looked nice on the inside, but didn't dine in.

The food was good. The brunch menu at least that's what I tried. French toast was nice and fluffy and had a great taste. Didn't really need the syrup. The bacon was good but those grits yes yes and yes. Tiger woods drink was good as well. It is small and homey inside but it's so nice and customer service is great.

The name of the chicken sandwich is 100% true, it IS the best. My friends and I came here on a whim and I'm so happy we did! The service was super friendly and we were all happy with our food. The mac and cheese was flavorful and cheesy. The side salad was refreshing paired with the chicken sandwich. It had a good kick to it and it was so big I ate the other half the next day.

Great vibes and service. Chicken is so so. It is double dipped so has a lot of batter and while crispy it is too much batter for me. The French toast has granola so some purist won't like it. My niece thought it had a bad texture and wouldn't eat it. This place is solid for the food but could be better. The spicy chicken just had dusting of cayenne pepper. All in all you should come check out peaches bc it is a neighborhood staple and has a nice vibe but don't expect the worlds best chix

Their fried chicken sandwich is massive and I loved that they went all in on the chicken. I didn't realize I ordered a side of Cole slaw to the Cole slaw that already came with it - it was way too saucy so I didn't enjoy it, but the sandwich was very good.

Walked in on a Saturday night without a wait. Which is insane because I'm not sure why there aren't more people here. The menu is pretty simple. Most of the things are fried, but fried foods are one of the best things. Ordered a fried chicken plate. It came with three pieces. The best fried Southern fried chicken I've had in NYC. The chicken was moist even for a breast piece. The seasoning was good. Cornbread could have been more moist. The prices are also decent considering how massive the portions are. Fried catfish sandwich was amazing. The seasoning on that was so good. It was aggressively seasoned. The cajun seasoning was amazing. The size of the catfish was big too. It was perfectly crispy. I liked the sauce that also came with it. Side salad was just what I needed to pair with it because it was a heavy meal. We debated on whether to upgrade our sides, but we were greatly stuffed after our meal. Definitely one of the places to go to for Southern food.

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've had in New York! Food Rundown: Fried Chicken Sandwich with Salad: The chicken was super crispy and juicy, it comes with TWO types of slaw, and the side salad had a good variety of veggies. Mac and Cheese: Cheesy goodness. I recommend it. Service was great, ambiance was decent. Great option for elevated southern food in a casual setting.

Loved the fried green tomatoes & the hot chicken w/ mac&cheese & cornbread were divine! It was so delicioooous, well seasoned. I gobbled up everything! Staff was very friendly & attentive. They have inside & outside dining. Super cozy down to earth place.
